 Oxygen
tanks
are used to store compressed oxygen in the form of a liquid
or gas. There are various sizes of Oxygen tanks. From small to large,
depending on how much Oxygen you need stored and how much weight
you are comfortable with carrying around with you. Today, lighter
aluminum tanks have replaced the heavy steel tanks that were once
used.
There are various size tanks. Below is list of some sizes:
M4/A Oxygen Tank: About 9 inches long, weight
about 1.5 lbs (empty)
M6/B Oxygen Tank: About 1foot long, weight about
2.25 lbs (empty)
M7Oxygen Tank: About 10 inches long; weight about
3 lbs
M9/C Oxygen Tank: About 12 inches long; weight
about 4 lbs
D Oxygen Tank: About 1 1/2 feet long; weight about
5 lbs
E Oxygen Tank: About 2 feet long; weight about
8 lbs
From larger D and E tanks for home use or M6,7,9 for portable oxygen
use, choosing the right size tank to meet your various needs is
